Who is Punty, and what are his qualifications?

Punty is me, and I don’t have any qualifications. I’m not an “expert” in anything that this blog is about. What I am is a middle aged suburban guy, not particularly experienced or in particularly good shape.

I just like being outdoors, and in recent years I have developed an interest in doing things outdoors that I am exploring. My blog is about exploring these things as I do and learn, and sharing these experiences. It is also a motivator for me to get out and find things to do so I will get my ass off the couch and do something fun that I can write about.
